What is PRP Treatment?

Today PRP treatment is wide spread and a well established procedure in cases of alopecia. Medical research in this field has been significantly increased and these are strong indications of the beneficial effect of PRP on hair restoration.

Growth hormones within your Plasma ( PRP ) stimulate the follicles to produce thicker denser hair. It prolongs the survival of the dermal papilla cells during the hair cycle, in other words inducing follicular stem cell differentiation as well as prolonging the phase of the hair growth cycle.

Treatment with PRP

If PRP hair loss treatment is an approriate treatment for your hair restoration, you can begin your treatments on the day of consultation.

A course of treatments are required for full hair restoration, initially at 6 week intervals. Treatment sessions can then be extended after review and assessment of progress. Although results vary, there should be measurable hair growth in 90 days with continued improvement at 6 months.
